FEBRUARY 2024

Well my February started with Waitangi Day celebrations on Saturday 3 February where I was part of the official Marae party as well as helping with provision of crockery and set up and down for proceedings.   A great day was had by all. 

Feb Meetings & Workshops:

KHAG (Kapiti Health Advisory Committee), Electra Business Breakfast, KEDA,

Elder Persons Council, Age Friendly, Paraparaumu Community Board, Council Meetings, WMMP Forum, Regional Health, Briefing Days at Council, Meetings CEO, Meetings Mayor, Youth Council, other Council members

Feb Community Visits: 

Mens Shed, Koro Don, Private Farm Business, Paraparaumu Boating Club, 

Police, Tuatara, Paraparaumu Beach Shops,Tuatara Brewery, plus approximately 10 community members who were in need of assistance for differing reasons: from disabled beach access to neighbourhood disputes,  elder housing placements and much more.

Currently Working On:

Paraparaumu Beach - Park Upgrade, Art, Skatepark, Toilets, Access, Paraparaumu Maori Committee, Maori Wardens, Long Term Plan including Rates, Health & Wellbeing, Community Housing,  continuing to make myself available to my community members when needed.
